About Me

Both my parents are creative people, and my mom is also a painter. I grew up surrounded by crafting supplies and though I tried several extra curriculars, the only thing that interested me was my sculpting/pottery class. I was never great, but it helped me discover how much I loved working with my hands (fast forward a couple years, I worked in bread bakeries shaping dough every day!). I didn't use paint much until high school. It was a slow and slightly frustrating process, but finally in college when we were taught to work with oils, something clicked.

Currently a Drawing and Painting student at OCAD University, with a diploma in Visual and Creative Arts from Sheridan College. I specialize in oil painting portraits (and am starting out with pet portraits too!) with strong contrasts between light and shadow. When I'm not busy brainstorming or painting, I'm making food, walking dogs... or sleeping.
